In 1980, when mortgage interest rates were over 18%, real estate agent John Sattel needed a more reliable income in order to provide for his family. So, with a bucket and a squeegee, he went door to door at metro area shopping centers to offer his window cleaning services. At that point, there was no business plan or grand vision, other than putting food on the family table that night.
John's uncompromising dedication to quality and reliability was validated in the marketplace. His customer base increased and, more importantly, has stayed with him. Budget Building Services has grown to be one of the region's largest pressure washing companies, and is rapidly becoming one of the major parking lot striping firms as well.
As the company grew, the company vision also became a reality. The leadership team is committed to being a major blessing to our customers and to the entire Budget staff. In turn, we ask our staff to "pay it forward" to our customers and to one another. Our vision works because it starts at the top, and guides every decision we make that might affect our customers or our employees.

John founded Budget Building Services in 1980. He is a graduate of Regis College, and enjoys mentoring his team by sharing his professional knowledge and business expertise. John's passion is to provide the best service in the marketplace. |

Kyle Blume, Vice President Operations
Kyle is a graduate of Metropolitan State College of Denver.
Kyle is a three time Golden Gloves Regional Champion and two-time
USA Boxing Regional Champion. He now spends his free time coaching
kids at his local boxing gym. Kyle is also president of a local car
club that participates in various fund-raising and charity events.
Kyle has been with Budget Building Services since 2000. |
